One of the ways we live out that mission is by convening workers throughout the front range to learn, build relationship and grow together. It takes a village of us behind the scenes to host these spaces where people can gather, and you are invited to be a part of building this movement with us! All our volunteers ascribe to the Nicene Creed and support our mission.

Time Commitment - 1.5 hr before meal is served, clean up 1 hr after food service
Do you… Care about buffet flow? Have any food service experience? “Eat with your eyes first” or are a self-proclaimed foodie? If you feed them, they will come. No event is complete without something great to eat and our Food & Beverage team helps us ensure our guests are well fed and hydrated so they can focus on who God is forming them to be. Food & Beverage volunteers assist with guest experience at lunchtime by releasing tables and helping guide traffic flow of the buffet line. These volunteers may also help ensure our speakers, vendors, staff, and other volunteer teams have access to snacks and drinks throughout the day.
Time Commitment - 1.5 hr before event, Teardown 1 hr after event
Do you… like to be moving around? Like the big picture? Our Setup and Teardown Event Volunteers are the behind-the-scenes heroes, bringing energy and organization to the crucial prep and wrap-up of our events. Generally, we will have one volunteer team for setup and a separate team for tear down of events to move tables, chairs, place decor and load/unload vehicles. You will help execute vision and transform spaces into places of belonging for our guests. Most events, these teams will be moving chairs, furniture and decor items in and out of the venue for the ultimate guest experience. Setup or Teardown volunteers will also assist in placing directional signage.
Time Commitment - 20 min before event, during breaks throughout the event
Do you… talk to people on airplanes? Love connecting people? A social butterfly? Our Greeters are the first point of contact for guests attending our event. In this role, you will warmly welcome attendees, provide directions, answer questions, and help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all. Your friendly demeanor and helpful attitude will make the “first impression” for all our guests to set the tone for the event. Greeters not only welcome attendees to the event, but assist in helping women find their assigned table number, answer questions and engage attendees in the lobby throughout the day.

Do you… have gifts of administration and hospitality? Nerd out on spreadsheets? Are customer-service savvy? Our Guest Services volunteers are the front lines of attendee interaction, problem-solving, and providing a welcoming experience. Examples of responsibilities include assisting with event check-ins, handling registrations, sorting name tags or supporting bookstore sales. Your focus will be on delivering excellent customer service and delivering the information guests need. By volunteering in this role, you will contribute to a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees!
Time Commitment - 5-6 hours 3 to 4 weeks leading up to event as volunteer schedule allows
Do you… live for a great photo booth? Use the word aesthetic often? Enjoy making things beautiful? Environment (Decor) volunteers will assist in creating a visually appealing and welcoming atmosphere for our events. You’ll work closely with the event coordination team to be involved in the execution of decorations that align with the theme and tone of the event. Environment volunteers will assist in centerpiece assembly, photo booth construction, painting, and helping to make all the ‘look & feel’ elements come to life.

Do you… Serve on your church's AV Team (sound, lighting, slides)? Know how to wrap a cord? Love wearing black? Event Production Volunteers have specialized experience in audio, visual, photography, videography, stage management or other production skills. Volunteers are willing to support the technical team in running sound checks, bringing items on/off stage during the program, and assisting in preparing equipment before the event begins. At our annual events, Production Volunteers may be found running the slides, helping facilitate Q&A sessions or help shuffle items on and off stage during the program.
