How I Built This

The Workshop is a network for faith-integrated leaders who own, build, or run their businesses. It’s a quarterly breakfast designed to help them connect with peers, learn from each other, and lead with Christ for the sake of their ventures, employees, and stakeholders.

Our next breakfast will be Friday, August 21, at the Denver Institute office (Tech Center). The NPR podcast How I Built This has a cult following among entrepreneurs, telling narrative-driven origin stories of iconic brands. In that spirit, we’ll interview two business founders on their origin stories from idea stage to startup to scale to exit, talking about the trials and successes in their process and how their faith informed that journey. After breakfast and the panel, stick around and co-work from our offices from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. We’ll have WiFi, coffee, snacks, and private rooms reserved for calls or in person meetings.  

We’ll also be sharing information about a 6-week discussion group we’re hosting for founders this Fall with Praxis. The Praxis Course is a guided experience designed to awaken your redemptive imagination—the capacity to see your work, your relationships, and your everyday life as part of God’s renewing work in the world—and equip you to act boldly out of love and sacrifice.
