Micah Salazar

Micah brings a unique set of leadership and management experiences to the Fading West team. After graduating from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in mechanical engineering, he and his family moved to Buena Vista, Colorado where he served as operations manager at Noah’s Ark Whitewater Rafting and Adventure Company, one of Colorado’s largest outfitters, which serves 25,000 people annually.

After Noah’s Ark, Micah became camp manager at Trail West Lodge, Young LIfe’s family camp in Buena Vista. This work combined his ability to manage a large organization with his love for creating places for families to build memories. This love led him to join the Fading West team in its pursuit to solve the housing crisis and to serve families by developing incredible neighborhood communities across Colorado.
