Denver Institute's 2022 Annual Report
Denver Institute community,
As someone who has recently relocated to Denver from a little greener place, the delay in spring’s colors and new life is an adjustment. So, needless to say, my family is excited to see what spring looks like in the Front Range. God’s placement of Easter at the beginning of spring is fitting. Jesus’ victory over death ensures the emergence of his reign and kingdom. His death and resurrection are reminders of his sovereignty over all things, his love for each one of us, and the new life he brings.
In Isaiah, God says “See I am doing a new thing, now it springs up. Do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (43:19). God is at work, always and right now, redeeming what we cannot imagine, breathing life into what was barren and dead, and delivering hope to his people. This is especially evident at Easter, but we can also see him doing those new things in our lives and work throughout the year if we pay close attention.
It is in that spirit of hope and new life that I am excited to share the Denver Institute Annual Report for 2022, Emergence: New Opportunities, New Momentum. The report highlights areas of our programming and the work of others in the community that demonstrate God’s transforming work in the world.
I invite you to take a handful of minutes to look over what we saw God doing in one of our most pivotal years.
Thank you for your faithful engagement in Denver Institute’s mission to form men and women to serve God, neighbor, and society through their daily work. Our annual report is evidence that your generous contributions of time, energy, prayer, and financial support are making an impact in the lives of others.
With gratitude,
Ross Chapman
